Intensive care

Sick patients are hospitalized in a separate Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and monitored 24 hours a day by trained technicians. Our ICU is equipped to handle patients requiring:

• Blood and blood component transfusions
• Continuous monitoring (pulse oxymetry, EKG, etc.)
• Intravenous fluids
• Oxygen
• Partial parenteral nutrition
• Peripheral and central venous catheterization
• Urinary catheterization
