Dr. Patrick Allen

Dr. Allen is a 2005 graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada. His experience since graduation includes a 1 year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Chesapeake Veterinary Referral Center in Annapolis, MD followed by 3 years practicing at Germantown Veterinary Clinic in Germantown, MD. Dr. Allen was very fortunate to gain substantial experience in abdominal ultrasound during his internship year and has continued to use this skill extensively in his diagnostic work-ups of patients. He also has taken advanced training to be able to perform the Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA) procedure for dogs with ACL injuries. You will find Dr. Allen truly enjoys working with not only your pets but interacting with you the client as well.

Outside of work Dr. Allen, being a native of the Eastern Shore of Maryland, enjoys anything involving the water. He and his wife, Dr. Michelle Allen, reside in Ellicott City.
