employment opportunities
At Falls Road, we have built a team that encompasses registered technicians and experienced assistants (some with over 20 years in animal related fields), college students who are applying to medical and veterinary schools and high school students who think they may want to become a veterinarian one day. We strongly believe in creating an environment where the love of learning is celebrated. With the goal of providing our patients with the best possible care, we have developed a training program that encourages each of our team members to continuously strive to improve their treatment skills and knowledge base. In addition to providing a safe and comfortable environment in which our patients can recover, our team members routinely learn new techniques from our more experienced staff on a graduated schedule. They have the opportunity to take part in computer and video based learning modules and testing to ensure that their medical understanding is ever expanding. Periodically, our team schedules group seminars to focus on particular topics such as protecting against rabies, feline and pain management. We have currently challenged our team to select some of our patients for case studies to be developed into learning material for our clients. These are just a few of the ways that we, as a hospital, have committed ourselves to providing exemplary care for each of our patients by providing our team with the tools necessary to be cutting-edge health care professionals.
